Senator Adams Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State, has expressed his belief that the people of Edo State still hold him in high regard due to his accomplishments during his governorship.

"I supported Governor Obaseki in Edo State and so I have people who still have affection for me," Oshiomhole said. He highlighted that his endorsement of Godwin Obaseki's gubernatorial candidacy has garnered him loyalty from certain quarters.
