Igbos Can Build All Those Vehicles We Import If We Adopt The Restructuring Template—Wale Olagunju

According to Punch, the Directorate of the Concerned Patriots of Nigeria (DCPN) has unveiled a vision for a unified Nigeria, where sovereign states coexist without divisions under a new name - the United States of Nigeria (USN). President Wale Olagunju, also a prominent religious leader, emphasized that their proposal advocates for national restructuring, not regional.

Each state would become a country and a state under the USN, similar to the US model, where states like California are both a country and a state. Olagunju cited the United Arab Emirates as an example, where seven countries united to form a single nation. He believes this restructuring would unlock regional potential, enabling development and growth without reliance on the federal government.

Olagunju highlighted the capabilities of various regions, including the Igbo land's potential to produce vehicles and Hausa land's ability to develop Sokoto and Kano into world-class cities. He emphasized that regional restructuring has failed in the past and that their proposal offers a more inclusive and peaceful solution for Nigeria's progress.

He said, "In Nigeria, we have China and Japan of the world in Igbo land. The Igbos can build all those vehicles we import if we adopt the restructuring template we are proposing.

"Look at Hausa, they can develop Sokoto and Kano better than Dubai. Look at Yoruba land, they can develop better."
