Manchester United's playmaker, Bruno Fernandes is in the spotlight once again, this time for his nomination for April's Premier League Player of the Month award, according to Streety News.

Despite facing relentless criticism throughout the season, the Portugal international showed his prowess by netting an impressive six goals in the Premier League last month.

The past month, however, hasn't been without its challenges for Fernandes and the team.

Manchester United's performance on the pitch was less than stellar, managing only one victory while suffering a defeat in an equal number of matches and settling for three draws.

These results dealt a blow to their hopes of securing a spot in the Champions League next season.

The Portuguese midfielder is aiming for his fifth Player of the Month award.

Competing alongside Fernandes for the award are five other standout Premier League players.

Chelsea's Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta, Arsenal's Kai Havertz, Everton's Jordan Pickford, and Manchester City's Josko Gvardiola are all strong contenders in their own right which adds to the excitement for the Player of the Month honors.
