Osimhen Starts Pre-season Next Week

No club has made any firm offers for Victor Osimhen, so he will begin pre-season with Napoli next week as planned.

The new coach of Napoli, Antonio Conte, may meet Osimhen in Castel Volturno in the upcoming week since no European team has put forward a formal offer to sign the striker.

Osimhen's contract with Napoli includes a €130m clause, but despite speculation of interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, there have been no official offers made to Napoli.

No team appears willing to spend €130m on Osimhen, and even if club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis reduces the price to €100m, it may still be hard to find suitable buyers.

Football Italia has recently announced that Conte is willing to let go of Osimhen. However, if a club does not make a move in the coming days, he will have to begin pre-season training with Napoli on July 11, 2024.

Arsenal prioritizes Viktor Gyökeres over Osimhen, despite finding the €100m release clause for the Sporting striker excessive.

Yet, Gyökeres is currently the Gunners' main focus due to his lower salary compared to Osimhen.

Chelsea altered their transfer targets with the arrival of Enzo Maresca, while Manchester United will focus on Joshua Zirkzee and continue to trust Rasmus Hojlund, particularly now that Erik ten Hag has been appointed as their manager.

Osimhen's goal is to compete in the Premier League, however, PSG is also keeping an eye on the talented Nigerian player. PSG appears to be more focused on Osimhen's teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and has already met with the winger's representative, causing tension with Napoli.

Osimhen managed to score 15 goals and give three assists in 25 games for Napoli in the previous season.
