Arsenal striker Mika Biereth has confirmed his departure from the club, announcing a £4 million transfer to Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz on social media. The Danish youth international impressed during his loan spell at Sturm Graz in the latter half of the 2023–24 season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 22 appearances.

This followed a successful loan at Motherwell, where he netted six goals in 15 games. Biereth's journey began with a standout performance for Arsenal's Under-23s in 2022, where he scored 12 goals and contributed five assists in 26 matches.

His talent attracted interest from several European clubs, leading to a loan stint at Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk before returning to Austria. The £4 million fee marks a record signing for Sturm Graz, who have included a sell-on clause in the deal, ensuring Arsenal benefits from any future sales. Biereth expressed his gratitude on Instagram, posting a photo from Arsenal's London Colney training ground with the caption: "Once a Gooner, always a Gooner. Thank you for everything." His Under-23s teammate, James Hillson, responded with supportive emojis.
