According to a report by Arise TV, the Kogi State government has expressed its gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Mr. Mohammed Seidu as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund.
In a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, and made available in Lokoja on Tuesday, the government celebrated Seidu’s appointment as a significant endorsement of his professional capabilities.
"The Governor, Government, and people of Kogi State wish to congratulate Mr. Mohammed Seidu on his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund," the statement read.
"His appointment is a testament to his expertise in his field and the confidence placed in him to leverage his vast experience to revamp the Nigeria Police Trust Fund."
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo also extended his appreciation to President Tinubu, highlighting the President’s trust in Kogi State’s talents.
"The Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, expresses profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for recognizing and appointing an accomplished Kogite to such a strategic position. Governor Ododo emphasized that Seidu’s appointment reflects President Tinubu’s commitment to engaging young, dedicated, and talented Nigerians, irrespective of their state of origin. He assured the President of his unwavering support for federal policies and programs aimed at national improvement.
