According to a report by Premium Times News, Mr. Eyo, a distressed father whose child was kidnapped, recounted a terrifying ordeal as unidentified gunmen violently invaded their home in Akwa Ibom State. He described how the assailants forcefully broke down their door, leaving him startled and helpless as they abducted his child.

"I was half asleep when I heard the bang on the door. I jumped out of bed, but the door was pulled to the ground with force. Two strange men entered and demanded my son. As a man, I tried to stop them, but they brought out guns and machetes. I shrugged," Mr. Eyo revealed.

The assailants' brazen act of violence has left the community shaken, prompting concerns about the safety of residents, especially children. Authorities, led by Bokime Bassey, the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) of Ayadehe Police Station, have initiated an investigation into the kidnapping to bring the perpetrators to justice.
