A few hours ago, while sharing via his official Twitter page, a well known Nigerian politician, APC chieftain, Minister of State Labour, Employment, and Productivity, Festus Egwarewa Keyamo, has reacted as the Channels Television released record of terrorists attacks in Nigeria from year 2011 to 2022.
According to the Channels Television, in 2022, Nigeria has recorded its best terrorism score since 2011.
According to the record, in 2011 it was recorded 175 terrorists attacks, death due to terrorism was 447, in 2012, attacks were 615, death due to terrorism was 1,506, in 2013, attacks were 347, deaths due to terrorism was 2,015, in 2014, attacks were 713, deaths due to terrorism was 7,775, in 2015, attacks were 641, deaths due to terrorism was 5,567, in 2016, attacks were 535, deaths due to terrorism was 2,174, in 2017, attacks were 488, deaths due to terrorism was 1,809, in 2018, attacks were 650, deaths due to terrorism was 2,577, in 2019, attacks were 507, deaths due to terrorism was 1,718, in 2020, attacks were 478, deaths due to terrorism was 2,102, in 2021, attacks were 214, deaths due to terrorism was 497, and in 2022, attacks were 120, deaths due to terrorism was 385.

Reacting to this information, the spokesperson for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential campaign council and Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN, Festus Egwarewa Keyamo said that Nigeria worst effort at fighting terrorism was under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the best so far has been recorded last year in 2022.
