Happening In Mount Kenya As Call For Mass Exodus From Ruto's UDA Party Emerge Ahead Of 2027 Polls

President William Samoei Ruto is seemingly sailing in the turbulence sea of controversy and uncertainty as far as the leadership of Kenya is concerned. As the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya, Ruto is continuing to experience ups and downs as far as the running of the affairs of the country is concerned.

Just recently, nationwide protests erupted in the country with main aim to pressurise President Ruto to deceist from taking some policy interventions and measures in the country. The protests have been spearheaded by the youthful Generation Z.

Before the dust could settle, President Ruto has equally started witnessing a sudden paradigm shift in one of his political support bases and bastions. The populous Mount Kenya region which was instrumental in the his election as the Fifth President of the Republic of Kenya is seemingly gradually drifting from him.

Latest reports have intimated that leaders drawn from Kirinyaga County now want the region to unite under one political party ahead of the 2027 general elections to have a say in the next political dispensation.

Above therefore implies that should the region resolve as stated, Ruto's United Democratic Alliance Party could suffer a huge blow ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Previously, it was speculated that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is considering rooting for a new political outfit as things continue being bumpy and coarsy between him and President William Samoei Ruto.

Whether it is a plan that is silently underway or a mere proposal by a section of the leaders from the region is something that remains to be seen as the country gradually strides towards the next political dispensation.
