Samuel Nwanosike, the embattled chairman of Ikwerre local government area, has responded after Ikenga Ugochinyere, the Spokesperson of the Coalition of House of Representatives members known as the ‘G60 lawmakers,’ said the recent Court of Appeal ruling did not overturn the sack of the 27 lawmakers led by Martin Amaewhule in Rivers State

In a video shared by TVC, Nwanosike criticized Ikenga, saying he is an outsider from Imo State trying to stir up trouble in Rivers State. He said Ikenga quickly interpreted the Court of Appeal’s ruling without waiting for the full judgment to be made public. He accused Ikenga of acting like the Supreme Court by making bold statements and causing confusion

In Nwanosike's words: "As soon as court of appeal gave the ruling, Ikenga came out and became the supreme court of Nigeria by interpreting the ruling of the court of appeal without even waiting for the original judgment to be made available to the public. I mean Ikenga Ugochinyere who has sapping the coffers of Rivers State with the slogan of 60 National Assembly members being behind him".
