Raila is in Zanzibar to attend the EAC ministerial meeting.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga arrived in Zanzibar on Sunday to attend the East African Community (EAC) ministerial meeting in Kiwengwa, where he will meet with ministers on a variety of regional issues.

Odinga's visit coincides with Kenya's approval of his candidacy for the upcoming African Union Commission Chairmanship elections.

His discussions with EAC ministers will focus on strengthening regional cooperation and advancing the African Union's agenda for continental integration and development. 

Kenya's unwavering support demonstrates his leadership abilities and commitment to promoting African unity.

Raila Odinga's presence in Zanzibar highlights not only his role as a unifying force in the East African region, but also his strategic vision for promoting economic collaboration and political stability. 

These constructive dialogues aim to strengthen ties between East African countries and improve the AU's ability to effectively address regional and global challenges.

The former prime minister is also expected to attend the event alongside Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and the Kenyan delegation.
