Wike: I do not see why Atiku has refused to visit Fubara in the face of the battles–Franklin Ntekim

An expert for Rivers State politics named Franklin Ntekim allegedly told the Vanguard that his party does not appear to be behind the governor. He suggested that the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, had turned the party against the governor by seizing greater control of it. The governor should leave the PDP, he said, because to the toxic environment.

The fact that Atiku Abubakar—the former vice president and leading candidate for president in 2023—had chosen not to visit Fubara in the midst of his ongoing hardships upset him. He asserted that the party's seeming lack of action betrays its disunity and prioritizes the interests of an individual over the group's collective welfare. He made it clear that he is not popular within the party.

Furthermore, it is evident that the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, must have won the party for himself, turning the PDP in the state against the governor. He ought to bow out of the PDP, in my opinion. Even though he is fighting for his life, I fail to understand why Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate and former vice president, has declined to see Governor Fubara. Believing that is so tough. It exemplifies a party that is selfish and only concerned with pleasing one man.
