Spanish left-back Marc Cucurella has spoken to the media in his latest interview about Chelsea's new manager Enzo Maresca and also urged his teammates at the club level to be patient with the new gaffer.

Cucurella is currently busy with Spain at the ongoing EURO 2024 tournament hosted by Germany. He has been instrumental in their victories so far and they are now in the quarter-finals and will play Germany. Other fixtures for the quarter-finals are as follows: Portugal vs France, Netherlands vs Turkey, England vs Switzerland.

Cucurella is expected to report to Chelsea after EURO 2024 to begin working with the new Chelsea manager because he will be utilized more next season because of his form.

However, as gathered from Vince™ on X, Cucurella spoke highly of Maresca and urged Chelsea players to be patient with him when he said: "A good coach has come and we need a bit of patience, not to make so many changes, to be more calm. We finished the season very well, in Europe, and then we played a final and a semi-final. We didn't win, but the year wasn't bad. Hopefully, we can build something good."
