Reactions After Tinubu's Spokesman Ngelale Says Purchasing Power Of Nigerians Has Increased

Since the Bola Ahmed Tinubu government took office, there has been worry over the high cost of living and the fluctuating value of the dollar against naira. On May 29, Tinubu will mark one year in office.

Meanwhile, in a video that went viral, Ajuri Ngelale, the president's spokeswoman, made a claim in an interview with TVC.

According to him, with changes in Tinubu's administration, particularly those involving the Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigerians' purchasing power has significantly improved over the past month and a half.

With that, he asserted that Nigerians are realizing that stability exists in addition to strength. He mentioned the upcoming rollout of the National Student Loan Program in the upcoming weeks. He promised that they would be able to disclose the number of people benefiting from the initiative by May 29.
