Reports: 5 Chelsea stars who could leave the club this summer.

With the summer transfer window approaching, let's look at some Chelsea stars that could depart Stamford Bridge this summer.

1) Marc Cucurella.

Having joined Chelsea in a huge deal from fellow EPL side Brighton, many expected more from the former Seagulls star, but he struggled to fit into his new home and could be shown the exit door after his second full season at the club.

In the game against Arsenal at the Emirates, where Chelsea were trashed 5 nil, the left-back was more like a spectator, allowing Saka to keep dribbling past him on a regular basis, while he also did little in preventing Kai Harvertz score his first.

With the club looking to build on their current progress this season, it is likely that Pochettino will sanction his departure and look to sign new defender.

2) Thiago Silva.

Silva is Chelsea's main man defensively. He has been very reliable over the past seasons, and would be missed as he would leave the club at the end of the season.

According to reports, the club has refused to offer the former Paris Saint-Germain star a new contract and has decided that it is time for him to try new things elsewhere. However, Thiago would be moving to his home country Brazil and would sign for Fluminense.

3) Trevoh Chalobah.

Two years ago, Trevoh Chalobah looked like a large piece of Chelsea defensive setup and was destined to help bring about a new era at the club. Fast forward two years later, the 24-year-old is now a major doubt for next season, with reports claiming that he is set to leave Stamford Bridge, even though he was one of the scorers in Chelsea's 2 nil win against Tottenham Hotspur.

There are talks of a move to Bayern Munich, but even if a deal to Germany fail to materialize, there are domestic clubs who would certainly be interested in him, once he is officially available.

4) Malang Sarr.

I am sure some Chelsea fans no longer remember who Malang Sarr is. The centre-back is expected to leave the club on a permanent basis after going out on loan for the past seasons.

He arrived at the Blues on a five-year deal in August 2020, and has played just 65 games in all competitions since then, with only 21 of those in Chelsea colours.

5) Conor Gallagher.

Arguably Chelsea's best player this season, but is yet to pen a new deal with his boyhood club, and with Tottenham interested in his signature, the English man may be looking to switch allegiance to the other side of London.
