Afrobeats star Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has expressed his apprehensions about collaborating with the controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable. Shmurda acknowledged that their musical styles would likely blend well, but he is reluctant to work with Portable due to the latter's contentious reputation. In a recent interview with Max FM, the ‘Cash App’ artist explained that while he believes a collaboration would produce great music, he is currently not prepared for the "wahala" (problems) that might come with working with Portable. He said, “I feel me and Portable will blend on a song but I am not ready for wahala [problem] right now.”
Since his rise to fame with the hit song ‘Zazoo’ in 2021, Portable has been at the center of several controversies. His latest issues include an online feud with Davido and rapper Zlatan Ibile. Portable accused Davido of giving him “bad advice” during their recent dinner in the United States and blamed Zlatan for damaging his relationship with the DMW boss.
