Peter Obi, a former governor of the state of Anambra and the current presidential candidate for the Labour Party, led a rally yesterday in Southern Borno State. The display of support that Peter Obi received from his legion of devoted followers numbered in the thousands.
After the event, Issac Balami, a member of the Obi-Datti presidential campaign committee, shared a post on his Twitter account in which he asserted that Peter Obi is the first presidential candidate to visit Southern Borno. Balami is a member of the Obi-Datti presidential campaign committee.
On his Twitter account, Isaac Balami published the following statement: "Yesterday, Peter Obi made history when he traveled to Southern Borno, the region where I come from, becoming the first presidential candidate to visit that region. His trip made him the first presidential candidate to visit that region. As a result of his unanticipated trip to the emirate of Buu, he will be seen as the man of the people who will lead all Nigerians in hi role as president."
