"Sack Me If I Am The Problem" CS Tells President Ruto As Cabinet Reshuffle Looms

Defense Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has told President William Ruto, to crack his whip and sack all the Cabinet Secretaris and leaders in the executive who he feels are failing his Kenya Kwanza administration.

Duale who was speaking to Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV on Wednesday said that he is ready to make way for another competent and more resourceful Kenyan, if President William Ruto finds him to unfit to continue holding the Defence docket.

Mr Duale who served as a Majority Leader in the previous administration added that the head of state should consider doing a Cabinet reshuffle, to get rid of Cabinet Secretaries who have failed him, saying that it would be in the interest of Kenyans who are not happy with how the affairs of the nation are being managed.

"If the President feels I have let him down as a Minister of Defence, I want him to do the right thing, not only start with me and all the rest who have let him down, in the interest of the Kenyans and tell us to step aside, I will have a new team. Let the President sack me if I am part of the problem bedeviling Kenya and his government. I am ready." Duale said

The outspoken Cabinet Secretary also said that it is high time President William Ruto listens to what he termed as "vital forces", which have reportedly requested him to reset and make changes in this Cabinet.

"The President must reset, he has an opportunity because we have listed to the vital forces. The vital forces are categorically saying that the President must rearrange his house." He said

This looming Cabinet reshuffle by President William Ruto comes barely a days after the Head of State lamented that some of his Cabinet Secretaries and his communication team have failed let him down.
