According to a source in the know, the President William Ruto is set to make changes in his cabinet, with the youths alias Gen Z unrest now pushing him further. For some time now, there have been calls to send home some of the cabinet secretaries who are deemed to not be competent enough for their offices.
There have been poor policies orchestrated by the cabinet secretaries and this has led to a fall in the satisfaction of Kenyans by the services provided by the government. Kenyans are further angered by the display of opulence by the lawmakers amidst tough economic times as this shows and displays them as rather insensitive.
That the President has been having consultations on how best to twitch his cabinet and some of them are already earmarked. This has now caused unease in the Cabinet and they have reportedly halted their services. They just want to be sure whether they are in the plans or not before they continue providing their services.
