Miguna Miguna has fired back at Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murmoken for calling for the lifestyle audit exercise to be conducted on the State officers to curb the rising corruption and extravagant lifestyle lived by the State officers.
Miguna told Kipchumba Murmoken to stop mocking Kenyans by calling for the lifestyle audit yet there is chapter 6 of the Kenyan Constitution of 2010 that outlines the need for integrity by all the civil servants working for the government. He further urged him that Kenyans demands actions and not empty words.
Kipchumba Murmoken who is the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport openly said that there is need for a yearly lifestyle audit for all the public civil servants and State Officers.
"Stop mocking Kenyans with Sh30M watches. We already have Chapter 6 of the Katiba. Kenyans demand action not empty words" stated Dr. Miguna.
CS Murmoken spoke just a day after his boss President William Ruto held a meeting with the youths through X space to discuss the matters affecting the country as corruption and extravagance lifestyle were among the key issues raised by the young people.
