Brighton & Hove Albion Women have secured the signing of England international Fran Kirby on a free transfer after her departure from Women's Super League champions Chelsea, according to a report by BBC Sports.

Kirby, 31, brings a wealth of experience and accolades to Brighton, having won five consecutive WSL titles during her tenure at Chelsea.

Kirby's move to Brighton marks a significant transition in her career, allowing her to remain in the south of England while continuing to compete in the WSL.
