The Edo state Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo has reacted after he met Edo Indigenes in Italy ahead of forthcoming gubernatorial poll.
Asue Ighodalo stated on his verified Twitter page; "I had a wonderful time engaging with the teeming Edo community in Reggio Emilia, Italy. We had fruitful discussions on how we can set up a Diaspora Commission to enhance their participation in governance and development back home."

He added; "I also shared my plans to set up a Diaspora infrastructure bond to attract much needed investments and financing for critical developmental projects in our dear State. Together we can make Edo State a bastion of prosperity for all."
