The Only Coach At The 2022 World Cup Who Has Not Lost A Single Match Since He Was Appointed 1 hour ago

The Netherlands beat the United States yesterday to extend their unbeaten run under Louis Van Gaal to 19 games. That win means that the Dutchman has not lost a single match since he was appointed Netherlands Manager in August 2021. Following the disappointing spell of their former manager, Van Gaal was appointed to take the Netherlands to the world cup.

The former Manchester United and Barcelona manager has so far done an excellent job. The Netherlands last lost a game in June of 2021 and it was under their former manager Frank de Boer. It came in the form of a 2-0 loss in the European Championships and the Dutch football federation let him go after that match.

Van Gaal then returned as the manager of the team and the 3-1 over USA was his 19th match in charge of the team. In that 19 matches, the team has won 14 of those and drawn the other 5. Form like this is the reason why they are considered favourites to win the world cup this year. Their next game is against Argentina in the quarterfinals of the world cup. Do you think that the Netherlands have what it takes to win this world cup?.
