Done deal: Tottenham sack Conte

Manager Antonio Conte has left Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent after 16 months in charge. Conte called the Spurs players "selfish" and criticised the club's culture in a remarkable news conference after their recent draw at Southampton. Conte's assistant Cristian Stellini will step up as head coach for the rest of the season, with former midfielder Ryan Mason his deputy.

Man United reject offers for Greenwood

The Athletic report that United have received offers from clubs in Turkey to take Greenwood on while the club's investigation is ongoing. But the M16 giants turned those approaches away as they forge a plan of action to integrate the England international into Erik ten Hag's squad or part ways with a player they have developed since he was a boy. Greenwood was thrust into the first-team picture as an 18-year-old by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and quickly became an important forward due to a lack of options.

Man Utd keen on Manu Kone

Manchester United are expected to sign a central midfielder when the summer transfer window opens and the list of potential targets continues to grow. The Red Devils have previously been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Ruben Neves. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now says Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone is the latest name on their radar. Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.
