According to popular sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old defender from Bologna has agreed terms of contract with the North London club until 2029, and the only remaining issue is a transfer agreement between Arsenal and Bologna.
The Italian defender has been performing impressively in the ongoing European Championship, attracting a lot of interest from several clubs across Europe, and it seems that Arsenal are on the verge of winning it.
Calafiori joined Bologna from FC Basel in 2022 and has made 30 appearances for the Italian club, scoring two goals.
