Chelsea and Spain left-back Marc Cucurella has spoken to the media in his latest interview on how he and Nico Williams complemented each other in the Spanish squad.
Cucurella is currently in good form and it started in the latter part of last season with Chelsea and the Chelsea Star carried the form to EURO 2024. He has been an integral part of Spain's squad in this year's Euros tournament. Spain is through to the semi-finals and they will face France. If they beat France they will be one step away from winning the trophy.
Meanwhile, Nico Williams is on Chelsea's transfer wishlist for this summer and If the Blues beat Barcelona to his signing, he will reunite with Cucurella at Chelsea.
However, as gathered from Vince™ on X, Cucurella in his latest interview talked about how he and Nico Williams complement each other on the left flank for Spain when he said: "You don’t even have to look for it. We have similar personalities and we like messing about and joking; it’s all happy, and enjoyable. I know he will do the best he can for me and he knows that if he makes a mistake, I’ll be there. His job is to attack and mine is to defend. We fit well together. If he feels I’m covering him, then Nico can do great things for our team."
