Former Nigerian senator, author, playwright, and human rights activist Shehu Sani reacts after Nigeria signed a $150 billion Samoa deal.

According to Daily Trust, the agreement reportedly has some clauses that compel underdeveloped and developing nations to support the agitations by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community for recognition, as a condition for getting financial and other support from advanced societies.

Nevertheless, Shehu Sani has reacted to the new development after the news surfaced online. According to the post he shared via his official X page on Wednesday, he said African states should not accept loans or grants from any country, group of countries, or international institutions that come with demonic conditions antithetical to our culture, religious faiths, and values.

He stressed that all African countries, including Nigeria, who appended their signatures, should go back and unsign the Samoa agreement.

In his words;

"African countries should not accept loans or grants from any country, group of countries or international institutions that came with demonic conditions antithetical to our culture, religious faiths and values. All African countries including Nigeria who appended their signatures should go back and ‘unsign’ the Samoa agreement".
