According to a report on DAILY POST, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command has deployed 30 motorcycles donated by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

This initiative aims to enhance the operational capabilities of law enforcement personnel and mitigate security challenges confronting rural communities.

The deployment of these motorcycles, painted in police colors, signifies a proactive approach by the FCT Police Command under the leadership of Commissioner Benneth C. Igweh.

The decision to allocate resources to rural areas underscores the commitment to address emerging threats, particularly banditry and kidnapping, which have increasingly plagued remote regions of the nation's capital.

FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the deployment in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Adeh highlighted the significance of extending security measures beyond urban centers to remote communities, where criminal elements often exploit geographical vulnerabilities to evade detection.

The donation of motorcycles by Minister Nyesom Wike reflects a concerted effort to prioritize the safety and security of FCT residents.
