Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, has categorically denied any involvement by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State. The crisis stems from the nullification of PDP's governorship primary election by a Federal High Court in Abuja, which was deemed unlawful due to the exclusion of 378 delegates.

In a recent interview, Oshiomhole emphasized that the law prohibits one political party from interfering in the internal conflicts of another, particularly in legal matters. He stressed that the issue is an internal PDP conflict, and APC cannot intervene. The Senator's comments come as PDP grapples with its internal crisis in Edo State, following the court's decision.

Oshiomhole's statement highlights the importance of respecting the legal boundaries between political parties and their internal conflicts. He noted that APC has no interest in meddling in PDP's affairs and that the party's focus remains on its own internal issues. By distancing APC from PDP's crisis, Oshiomhole has put to rest speculation about APC's involvement in the matter.

The Senator's comments also underscore the need for political parties to respect each other's autonomy and internal processes. He emphasized that PDP's internal conflicts are well-known and that the party's legacy group has been complaining about being marginalized by the party's leadership.

As the political landscape in Edo State continues to evolve, Oshiomhole's statement serves as a reminder that political parties must operate within the bounds of the law and respect each other's internal processes. By doing so, they can maintain the integrity of the political process and ensure that the interests of the people remain paramount.
