In bold revelation, Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba has shed light on why President William Ruto is unlikely to dismiss Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria from his government. According to Wamuchomba, Kuria holds sensitive information about the administration's inner workings and alleged corrupt practices, making him a formidable figure within the government.
Wamuchomba stated that President Ruto cannot afford to fire Kuria, as doing so could provoke Kuria to expose various secretive and potentially scandalous dealings under Ruto's leadership. Such disclosures could potentially reignite public outrage, especially among the Generation Z demographic, whose fervor for political accountability had recently subsided.
It suggests that Kuria’s insider knowledge serves as a safeguard against his removal, ensuring his continued position despite any controversies or disagreements, within the government. Even if the cabinet secretary becomes, incompetent to which level, the president will forever tolerate him.
