In a recent video on Facebook, Pastor David Ibiyeomie emphasized the importance of specificity in seeking miracles, drawing from biblical examples to illustrate how clearly defining one’s desires can lead to divine intervention. Speaking to his congregation, he highlighted the necessity of knowing exactly what one wants when approaching God with requests.

Using the story of Bartimaeus from the Bible, who specifically asked Jesus to restore his sight, pastor Ibiyeomie demonstrated how clearly articulated desires can lead to fulfillment.

According to him, "It is what you defined (that) you can find. The Man called Bartimaeus. Bartimaeus defined (that) he wanted his sight. He was specific, he knew what he wanted. When Jesus said: “What do you want?” He said: “My sight!” There are people you meet them, you say: “What do you want?” “Anything you like, pray!” No! You must define your miracle. If you don't like where you are, then decide where you want to be. Some don't like where they are but they don't know where they want to get to. It's like a man taking a journey and does not know his destination. From the beginning you desire a miracle, what exactly are you looking for? Hannah said: “I desire a male child.” Bartimaeus said: “I desire my sight!” The Woman with the issue of blood said: “I desire my blood to cease.” Is that true? What are you looking for?"
