Once again, the government has broken the silence and revealed new details about the number of police officers who were injured during protests in the country that left millions of properties destroyed by some criminals, as per information that was issued by President William Ruto.

As per the latest updates shared by a well-known source this hour and at the same time circulating on social media, Central Regional Commander Tom Okoth has broken the silence and confirmed that 40 police officers were injured in different parts of the country, including Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Nyeri, and Kiambu counties.

He has also added that in some parts of the country, police vehicles were burned to ashes by the protests.

Also, in parts of Nairobi, some police vehicles were destroyed by the angry protesters after the police officers started opening fire to them.

It is not clear how many protesters were killed; President William Ruto confirmed that only six people lost their lives during the protests.

Also, it is not clear how many people lost their lives in Githurai after police officers opened fire to peaceful protesters.

May the souls of the innocent youths who were killed in the protests continue to rest in peace. It is so unfortunate to lose young people through these killings.

More to follow...

Meanwhile, let us come together and pray for the families who lost their loved ones in the protests. Also, some of the protesters are missing.
