Liverpool's Luis Diaz remains eye by Spanish club FC Barcelona, the 27-year-old Colombian star who has been on the Barcelona's radar since the commencement of transfer window has continued to tempt the Spanish giant to sign him despite financial challenges.

Luis Diaz who joined Liverpool in January 2022 from Porto has a staggering future at Anfield after confirming in an interview that he will be pleased to play for Barcelona which triggered the possibility of him transferring to Camp Nou.

The nineteenth time Premier League champion are also not lying quietly in the transfer window following the appointment of a new Head Coach, Arne Slot which means Anfield will witness evolution and transformation.

One of which is the potential departure of Luis Diaz after drawing interest from Barcelona. Liverpool slapped a £75 million price tag on the Colombian star as claimed by Spanish media outlet Dario AS after Arne Slot reported he won't force the stay of the Colombian at Anfield.

Slot's approval of the departure of Luis Diaz from the squad gave Barcelona a boost to bring the winger to Camp Nou only if they could sell Brazilian player, Raphinha to Saudi Arabian's league champion for a price of £90 million which looks unlikely.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed Anthony Gordon's possible arrival at Anfield in replacement for Luis Diaz should he leave the club. The England star looked to be the perfect replacement for Diaz in Slot's squad.

Newcastle could not hold back the temptation after willing to cash in on Gordon as they strive to comply with financial rules. Curtis Jones, Liverpool's midfielder could also help in the signing of the Magpies' winger.

The 23-year-old star could help in the acquisition of Newcastle's number 10 after Gordon explained their relationship in an interview portraying Jones as one of his best friends in the world of football.

The deal has not yet been confirmed but it is understood that the Reds are England star and his openness to join Liverpool's squad.
