Nollywood veteran actor Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, widely known as Kanayo O Kanayo, has shared his thoughts on the potential for a southeastern individual to become the president of Nigeria and the subsequent transformation the country might experience.
During an interview on Nigerian comedian Nedu Ani's podcast, Kanayo O Kanayo expressed his views on various topics. He mentioned that he does not believe in monogamy, asserting that it is not part of their culture and was adopted from Western traditions.
Discussing religion, the filmmaker stated that it has caused significant harm in society, to the point where a man can comfortably sit at home and ask his children to bring him their "first fruits," claiming he is as anointed as other pastors.

Regarding the presidency, Kanayo O Kanayo remarked:
"The day you give Igbo man presidency in this country, that's the day Nigeria will discover why it is Nigeria. Economically, people will begin to say hallelujah."
