PSG aims to make a significant impact on European football by pursuing a £200 million wonderkid to fill Kylian Mbappe's shoes.

Mbappe's departure from PSG appears to have been brewing for years, marked by ongoing contract disputes and strong ties to Real Madrid, fueling constant speculation.

Nevertheless, it appears that this saga is reaching its conclusion this season, as Mbappe's contract nears its end in the summer, with his transfer to Madrid on the verge of being finalized.

PSG faces a challenging situation with the departure of the Frenchman, as the club has witnessed the exit of its global superstars like Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi, and Sergio Ramos over the past year.

Having meticulously built their team to pursue Champions League glory, PSG now finds itself compelled to undergo another rebuilding phase due to the departure of several key players.

This reconstruction is already in full swing, with signings such as Bradley Barcola making a significant impact on the squad's journey to the Champions League semi-finals.

PSG is known for making bold moves, and as per reports from Le Parisien (via Sport), they are plotting an audacious move for 16-year-old Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal.

The report indicates: "PSG have set their sights on Lamine Yamal. The previously mentioned fee of 200 million euros should not be taken lightly."

This wouldn't be the first instance of PSG snatching Barcelona's prized asset, as Neymar's transfer in 2017 sent shockwaves through the footballing community.

Nonetheless, Yamal's departure would be a catastrophic blow for the club given his displays and promise.

Reportedly, PSG executives were highly impressed with Yamal's performances during the Champions League quarter-finals and consider a €200 million bid to be a feasible amount to secure the Spaniard, despite his €1 billion release clause.

Yamal has been a sensation this season, netting four goals in La Liga in 16 appearances. Additionally, the teenager featured in ten matches for the Spanish giants in the UCL before their elimination by PSG.
