Lawyer and one of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Kenneth Okonkwo has stated that both young and old, men and women politicians have failed Nigerians.
This statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday.
His statement is coming after the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, declared the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello wanted.
In the post that Kenneth Okonkwo shared on his page, he said he has watched the game between EFCC and Yahaha Bello and all he can say is that age and gender will no longer be a factor when considering the right person to lead the nation. He said competence, character and capacity will be considered.
Kenneth Okonkwo wrote on his official page;
"I have come to the conclusion that both young and old, men and women politicians have failed us. Age and gender will no longer be a factor, competence, character and capacity suffice".
