Italian Serie B club Bari are close to securing the signing of Nosa Obaretin, a left-footed Nigerian central defender, on a loan deal from Napoli. According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Obaretin will spend the upcoming season at Bari, bolstering the team's defense.

Obaretin, born in Forlì on January 26, 2003, was nurtured in the youth setup of AC Milan before joining Napoli. He has gained valuable experience playing for Trento on loan last season, making 35 appearances and scoring twice. His performances have caught the attention of Bari, who are keen to strengthen their defense.

The 21-year-old defender stands at 1.89 meters tall and is comfortable playing as a left-sided central defender in a back three or as a left back in a back four. His versatility and skills will be an asset for Bari in the upcoming season.

Obaretin's loan move to Bari is seen as a smart piece of business by the club, as they look to build a strong defense. With his experience and potential, Obaretin is expected to play a key role in Bari's campaign in Serie B.
