Benue Gov, Alia Reacts As He Received Award From FG At The 6th National MSME 2024 Awards In Abuja

The executive Governor of Benue state, Hyacinth Alia has reacted after he received an award from the federal government of Nigeria at the 6th National MSME 2024 awards in Abuja on Thursday.

Governor Hyacinth Alia stated on his verified Facebook page on Friday; "I am deeply honoured to have received the Outstanding MSMEs Support Award yesterday, during the occasion of the 6th National MSMEs Awards 2024 at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja, in recognition of my dedication to supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Benue State and creating a conducive environment for small businesses to thrive."

He added; "This event was organised by the Office of the Vice President to create jobs and promote the growth and development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs)."

He stated further; "Under our administration, we have implemented numerous initiatives and policies aimed at empowering our local businesses, creating jobs, and driving economic progress. MSMEs are the backbone of our state's economy, and we remain committed to creating an enabling environment for them to thrive."

He noted; "Special thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their support and the recent launch of the N150 billion MSME’s Intervention Fund in partnership with the Bank of Industry, which will further bolster our efforts."
