As reported by the Daily Post, Enugu State Police Commissioner Adebayo Ogunleye revealed an unprecedented manhunt for eight individuals linked to a string of violent crimes across the region.
"We're not just dealing with petty thieves here," Ogunleye said, his voice grave. "These suspects are wanted for everything from cold-blooded murder to terrorizing entire communities. What's more alarming is that one of them used to wear our uniform."
The Commissioner didn't mince words about the potential danger. "I'm asking every citizen to be our eyes and ears," he urged. "But for heaven's sake, don't try to be a hero. If you spot any of these men, call us immediately. We've got a substantial reward on the table for solid leads."
As tension filled the room, Ogunleye concluded with a stark warning: "Make no mistake, these individuals have evaded us for too long. But with the public's help, their days of freedom are numbered. Enugu deserves peace, and we intend to deliver it."
