In a candid interview on News Central TV, the former Organising Secretary of the All Progressive Congress in Kaduna State, Sam Yohana highlighted FCT Minister Nyesom Wike's influence within both the House of Representatives and the Senate, emphasizing his strategic approach to project funding and completion.
He observed that Wike has successfully completed long-standing projects within a short time frame, suggesting he has a strong rapport with legislators and President Buhari.
He noted that Wike's connections enable him to secure funding and complete projects that have been pending for years, demonstrating his political savvy and effectiveness in working with various stakeholders to achieve results.
He said, "The Honourable Minister of FCT (Nyesom Wike) has his way in the National Assembly, both the House of Reps and the Senate. You can see what he does now, he doesn't award projects until when the funds are available, and where do those funds come from, he knows how to play his card. Some of these projects that he is commissioning now are projects that have been there 10, 12 years. In less than a year, he (Wike) is able to complete some of these projects. This is just to tell you that he has a very good relationship with the legislators and he has a very good relationship with Mr President."
