MP's Office Linked to City Hall Fire, Says Governor Sakaja

Recent demonstrations in the country have now turned into a blame game. During the first day of these demonstrations, youths who proclaimed themselves as generation z engaged police in running battles. At some point, they were out of police control to the point of protesters burning a section of parliament and also Nairobi governor's office.

Nairobi county governor, honourable Johnson Sakaja have now come out with some allegations. According to honourable Sakaja, one of those who burnt city hall in Nairobi works in the office of one of the members of parliament. He have now demanded the member of parliament to be disclosed to the public so that the law takes its course. He accuses the aide of the unknown member of parliament of planning the burning of City Hall by goons.

Further, Sakaja denied his association with goons who disrupted peaceful demonstrations. He said that during the demonstrations that led to City Hall being burned, he was in the coast with his cabinet and so never planned such things.
