A tragic incident occurred at a wedding ceremony in Thionville, France, leaving one dead and five injured. On the night of June 29, a masked gang attacked the reception hall of Eden Palace, where around a hundred guests, mostly from the local Turkish community, were celebrating. The shooting happened around 1 am, targeting a group of people outside the hall. Three men, reportedly wearing face coverings and black hoodies, fled the scene before police arrival.

According to sources, the attack is linked to a settling of scores between drug traffickers. The victims, aged between 25 and 50, included a man in his 30s who was killed, three seriously injured, and two others with minor injuries. Witnesses described the perpetrators using Kalashnikovs and a shotgun, firing over 15 rounds.
