Mr. Adeniran Oyebade, the Director General of the Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation in Ondo Central Senatorial District, has expressed dissatisfaction regarding what he perceives as the theft of their electoral mandate. According to a report from Arise News, Oyebade alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted primary elections in Ondo State through fraudulent means, resulting in the fabrication of results rather than a genuine collection process. He said that the people's mandate was blatantly disregarded, with false results circulated to declare a different candidate as the winner.
Oyebade strongly condemned what he described as a "broad-daylight robbery" and characterized the situation as a monumental disaster. He accused the APC of delegating individuals to Ondo State to oversee the primary election process, but instead of conducting a proper election, they remained in Akure and began fabricating results. According to Oyebade, these fabricated results purported to represent the outcome of elections held in 203 wards across Ondo State, effectively usurping the mandate of the people.
The Director General lamented the dissemination of various conflicting results, which he claimed falsely proclaimed a particular candidate as the winner of the primary election. Oyebade emphasized that these declared outcomes did not align with the reality of the election process on the ground. He stressed the magnitude of the alleged electoral fraud, portraying it as a flagrant violation of democratic principles and a betrayal of the trust of the electorate.
According to Oyebade's account, the fraudulent conduct of the APC during the primary elections resulted in the theft of their mandate, depriving the Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation of a fair and legitimate electoral outcome. He decried the injustice perpetrated against their campaign and called for accountability and redress for the purported electoral malpractice committed by the APC. In light of these allegations, Oyebade and his team are actively protesting against what they perceive as the unlawful usurpation of their electoral mandate. They seek to draw attention to the fraudulent conduct of the APC during the primary elections and demand justice for the disenfranchised electorate in Ondo State.

APC delegated some people to Ondo State to conduct the primary; apparently, that was never done. They remained in Akure and started writing results. They wrote the results of 203 wards all across Ondo State, taking the mandate of the people into their own hands. At the end of the day, we started seeing different results flying around stating one particular candidate won the election, but that never happened."
