Head of state President William Ruto has now been given 2 options, either to resign or fire the entire cabinet as former Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu delcares 2027 Mt Kenya stand.
In a statement, the former Governor who had recently been a critic of the head of state, has now argued that the current political situation in the country where youths have taken to the streets ,is not unique to Kenya only . He argues that what is happening in the country had happened in Egypt and Tunisia where in the two countries, the leaders were forced to resign.
He therefore argues that the only 2 please possible solution available for Ruto is therefore to resign or dismiss all his cabinet Secretaries and all the top leadership so that the people can restore their hope in him.
Furthermore, Waititu says that Mt Kenya region will fill a presidential candidate in 2027 arguing that the candidate will be able to unite the divided region.
