The Vanguard reports that Hon. Abubakar Sadiqu Abdullahi, a senior PDP member in Nasarawa State, is confident that the PDP will reclaim its position in Nigeria and Nasarawa State by 2027. Abdullahi, alias Ambassador Abdulsadiq, spoke exclusively to the Daily Sun and said that the PDP's objective is driven by its "strong legacy, robust policies, and commitment to the people." According to him, "PDP has played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s political landscape since its inception, Our tenure has been marked by significant achievements in economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare."
He went on to say that the PDP had laid the groundwork for contemporary democracy in Nigeria with its innovative policies and reforms. The PDP's dedication to democratic ideals and governance was reaffirmed by Abdullahi, who stated, "championing free and fair elections, transparency, and accountability." Abdullahi had out the PDP's long-term goals for 2027, which included of "economic revitalization, infrastructure development, prioritization of education and health, strengthening security, and promoting good governance."
He stressed that the PDP has strategic plans to take advantage of Nasarawa State's potential for growth and development, and that the state is an important focus for the party. Abdullahi emphasized the significance of mobilizing the grassroots and promoting inclusivity, calling for involvement of residents at all levels to guarantee that "every voice is heard."
According to him, "PDP’s journey towards reclaiming its position in Nigeria and Nasarawa State by 2027 is rooted in a deep commitment to the country’s progress and the well-being of its citizens."
