Following the protest that happened two weeks ago in the country driven by the Gen Zs, many members of parliament have been living as fugitives because they can not go back to their houses. This is after Kenyans threatened to punish any legislator that voted in favor of the punitive Finance Bill.
Several MPs have so far suffered the consequences and the rest can't risk themselves anymore. Wahome Thuku has come out to allege that the MPs are currently hiding at a fancy hotel in Nairobi where they are being protected by GSU officials. The hotel according to Wahome is located on Langata Road. He also said that some of the MPs are hiding at another hotel in Kiambu which is owned by some business woman. Wahome further notes that some of the NOs have relocated their family members to safer places for fear of them being attacked by Kenyans.
"MPs wa Mt Kenya are hiding in a big fancy hotel on Langata Road that is highly guarded by GSU. Huko wala kuku na minofu. Others are hiding in a hotel in Kiambu owned by a business woman. I hear the little arrogant one who lands in his home and takes off in a chopper, behind a 5 meter wall, has cleared the homestead and moved out the family." Wahome said.
