Chelsea decides against Nico Williams move

One player who won’t be ending up at Chelsea this summer though it seems is Nico Williams. The Blues, along with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, had been strongly linked with the Athletic Bilbao forward, currently starring for Spain at Euro 2024. However, Fabrizio Romano has said today that Chelsea are not planning to trigger Williams’ €58m release clause at San Mames as things stand.

Man Utd fail in opening bid for Ugarte

Manchester United’s opening offer for Manuel Ugarte has been rejected. It was reported earlier that the Red Devils had tabled an official bid for the Paris Saint- Germain midfielder, who snubbed Chelsea last summer in order to join PSG from Sporting Lisbon. However, that offer has now been rebuffed by the French giants, who apparently want to recoup as much of the €60m fee they paid for the Uruguayan international only a year ago, per French publication L’Equipe. Ugarte is currently on La Celeste duty at the Copa America tournament in the USA.

West Ham slap £150m price tag on Jarrod Bowen amid rival interest

Tottenham have been quoted £150million for Jarrod Bowen by West Ham, reports HITC . The England international impressed once more last season and his performances has seen him linked with the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle . Tottenham are also said to be among Bowen’s admirers and the north London outfit have made contact with their rivals over a potential deal. However, West Ham knocked back the enquiry from Spurs as they believe the ex-Hull City star is worth upwards of £150m, which is not within the realms of Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Chelsea star wants Maresca talks

Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei wants talks with Enzo Maresca as he decides his future. According to the BBC, the Blues are ready to sell the 21- year-old but Maresca knows Casadei well after a loan stint at Leicester. The Italian player is reportedly keen to fight for his place at Chelsea but will sit down with Maresca first before coming to a decision on whether he wants to stay or not.
