The 22-year-old forward, who has a single England cap, is not enthusiastic about a potential move to Marseille. Instead, he prefers a permanent return to Spain, where he enjoyed his loan spell. Getafe president Angel Torres has expressed a strong desire to bring Greenwood back to Spain. He told Radio Marca, "If it depends on the boy and the parents, he will continue another year. Manchester, the news we have from last week, the thing is that if there is a good offer they would like to sell. Because he is not going to return there." Torres highlighted Greenwood's impressive performance last season, noting that despite a 16-month absence from the field, Greenwood scored eight league goals and two in the cup, significantly contributing to the team.
