Oyo State Government Approves N332million For Renovation Of Governor’s Lodge In Lagos According to Sahara reporters, the Oyo State Government has announced the approval of funds amounting to over N332 million for the renovation of the governor's lodge located in Lagos State. This decision was reached during the State Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday.

In addition to the renovation project, the government also approved several other initiatives. These include the regularization of employment for 129 workers at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to ensure they receive all benefits accorded to civil servants.

Furthermore, the council awarded a contract for the clearing of the North-East segment of the Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road, stretching 110 km from Badeku area along the Ibadan/Ife expressway to Molarere on the Moniya-Iseyin Road. The project, valued at N3.5 billion, was awarded to M/S Picoraod Company Ltd and is expected to be completed within six months.

Another significant approval was for the remodelling and renovation of the Governor's Lodge, Guest Chalets, Boys Quarters, and Liaison Office in Ikeja, Lagos. This contract, awarded to Feyton Lanreolu Associates Limited, is valued at N332,134,999.05 and is slated for completion within three months.

Additionally, the council sanctioned the asphaltic improvement of the dualised Mapo-Oritamerin Road (0.5 km) as an additional component of the Bus top Gate-Molete Bridge project. Ratcon Construction Company Limited was awarded the contract at a cost of N373,809,539.41.
