The Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua recently called for the resignation of the Director of National Intelligence service Hon Nordin Haji for allegedly failing President Ruto ahead of demos that broke the government walls and youths invaded the Parliament, burnt down Judiciary and the Nairobi county offices.
However, Aden Duale, the CS for defence has defended the NIS director over criticism from the second in command saying that the NIS boss is qualified. This is not the first time the CS is directly differing with the deputy president over national issues. He recently called out the DP for allegedly profiling Mt Kenya as his vocal point of politics after talking about one man one vote one shilling campaign.

"The only problem we have is we don't listen to understand but listen to reply." Mwangi Kairuki said
"Duale is just a local politician why did Ruto give those politicians CAS jobs he can't see how they are messing up his government." Ruriri Njamba said.
"Duale and his pple are very tribalist though they always pretend to be nationalism, we know them." George Nyoike said.
